MAAC Announces 2007 Volleyball All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ ? A total of 42 athletes comprise the 2007 MAAC Volleyball All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Iona College and Niagara University led all schools with six members each named to the team. Fairfield University and Marist College both added five members, while Loyola College, Manhattan College and Siena College all had four athletes apiece named to the team. Canisius College and Saint Peter’s College both added three players, while Rider University rounded out the team with two athletes.
