The MAAC Announces the 2015 All-MAAC Men's Tennis Teams

EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced the members of the 2015 Men’s Tennis All-MAAC teams, highlighted by Monmouth University’s Victor Pugliese, who was selected as the league’s Player of the Year while Marist College’s Rudolf Kurz was named Rookie of the Year.

Quinnipiac head coach Chris Pappas was named 2015 MAAC Men’s Coach of the Year. 

Pugliese, a senior from Boulogne, France, finished the regular season with an overall record of 11-7 and a 4-0 mark in MAAC play. He ended the regular season with a record of 10-3 in first singles play. Pugliese also earned a spot on the All-MAAC First Team at No. 1 Singles and All-MAAC First Team at No. 1 Doubles with his partner Vidit Vaghela.

Kurz, a freshman from Oberpullendorf, Austria, finished the regular season as a Red Fox with an overall record of 18-8 including a 6-0 record in league play. Kurz also earned a spot on the All-MAAC First Team at No. 2 Singles and All-MAAC First Team at No. 3 Doubles with his partner Dylan Fletcher.

Pappas, currently in his first year as the head coach of the men’s tennis program, led the Bobcats to an overall record of 11-9 and a 5-2 mark in conference play.
