MAAC Announces 2018 Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team
EDISON, NJ – A total of 124 student-athletes from the nine women’s lacrosse schools in the MAAC were named to the 2018 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team. To be eligible, student-athletes must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
Manhattan College was the most represented on the team with 21 student-athletes. Quinnipiac University, Iona College and Niagara University had 14 or more student-athletes make the team with 18, 16, and 14 respectively.
Marist College and Monmouth University were represented with 14 student-athletes. Fairfield University had 12 student-athletes make the all-academic team. Siena had eight student-athletes make the all-academic and Canisius College placed seven student-athletes on the team.
