Sheryl (Klick) Strobl ranks in the top-10 in nine career categories, including second in assists (487) and steals (312), third in 3-pointers (223), sixth in free throws (305) and ninth in games played (112). Klick ranks eighth all-time in scoring with 1,402 points and averaged double-figures scoring in each season. 
Klick, who was a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team recipient, was an instant contributor to the program beginning her freshman season. She was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team and the MAAC All-Tournament Team as Niagara advanced to the program’s only MAAC Championship Final in 1997. She sunk a career-high 66 3-pointers, which are eighth most in a single season.

Her breakout season occurred during her junior season when she became the first player in program history to 100 points, 100 rebounds, 100 assists and 100 steals in a single season. She averaged a career-high 14.6 points per game, including netting a career-best 37 points against Rider on Jan. 3, 1999, which is fifth-most in program history. She set the program’s NCAA Division record with 12 assists against Iona on Feb. 14, 1999 and finished the season with 165 assists which are fourth-most in a single season. On the defensive side, she holds the single-season steals record with 109 and twice had games with nine steals, which are tied for second-most in program history. She was named to the All-MAAC First Team.

She concluded her career with another solid campaign as a senior en route to being named to the All-MAAC First Team. She averaged 13.1 points per game. Her total assists (148) rank fourth and her 3-point percentage (.434) is sixth and her total steals (79) rank seventh in a single season. 
Klick, who was the first Purple Eagle to play professionally, was inducted into the Niagara Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.
