Buscetto remains Quinnipiac’s all-time assist leader 25 years after graduating in 1993. He finished his four-year career with a school-record 624 assists, and the closest anyone has come to approaching that mark since was Rob Monroe ’05, who graduated with 541 assists. In addition to his career totals, Buscetto is also the only player in school history to record 200 assists in a season, which he accomplished when he finished with 211 as a senior in 1992-93. His 189 assists as a sophomore also rank as the second-highest total in school history, while his 156 assists are tenth.
 
In addition to his playmaking skills, Buscetto also joined the Quinnipiac 1,000-point club his senior year and currently ranks 25th on the school’s scoring list with 1,165 points (after graduating in 12th place). He also still ranks second on the school’s all-time steals list with 195. As a senior, he was an honorable mention All-Northeast 10 Conference selection after averaging 14.8 points and 7.5 assists per game while leading Quinnipiac to a 16-13 record and a fourth-place finish.
