Honor Roll
Christine Fryer-Paprocky left the Fairfield University women’s basketball program as one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history. The guard started her career by collecting the 1993 MAAC Rookie of the Year honor and continued to earn conference accolades throughout her four-year stay. After securing a spot on the MAAC All-Rookie team, Fryer-Paprocky went on to receive a berth on the All-MAAC first team in 1994, 1995, and 1996. In her final two seasons with the Stags, she was honored by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association as a member of its annual All-Met team. She currently ranks sixth on Fairfield’s all-time scoring list with 1,584 points and remains the program leader in career steals with 356. She also ranks among Fairfield’s finest in career assists (3rd with 543) and career scoring average (7th at 13.7 ppg). Fryer-Paprocky’s impact was also recognized when she was placed on the MAAC’s 25th Anniversary Team for the 1990s. She was inducted into the Fairfield University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.
