Walker’s career assists records at Saint Peter’s still stand almost three decades later, with him holding the program’s top spots with 674 career assists, 5.8 career assists per game, and a record 204 total assists during the 1988-89 season. On the MAAC career leaderboard, he graduated ranked 2nd all-time in assists (currently 5th) and 3rd all-time in assists per game (currently 7th). Walker’s single game record of 20 assists against Holy Cross on February 11, 1989 are still the most dimes in a single game in MAAC and Saint Peter’s history. He also holds four of the Peacocks’ top-10 spots on the single season assists chart; in addition to his 204 assists in 1988-89, Walker also posted 170 assists in 1989-90 (4th all-time), 162 assists in 1990-91 (5th all-time), and 138 assists in 1987-88 (9th all-time).

Over his four-year career from 1987-91, Walker scored 927 points, knocking down 135 career 3-pointers, and recording 195 steals. His 195 career steals rank 3rd on the Peacocks’ all-time list and his 1.7 steals per game average ranks 6th. Walker’s 135 career 3-pointers are currently 8th on the charts while his career 3-point field goal percentage of .378 ranks 5th. He also holds career records in free throw percentage and six additional individual season records. Walker earned a trio of all-conference awards in his four seasons, making the MAAC All-Rookie team in 1987-88, MAAC All-Tournament squad in 1988-89, and earning a selection to the All-MAAC Second team in 1990-91.
