Honor Roll
Danielle Donohue, known as Danielle Galarneau in her playing days, was a stalwart in the frontcourt for the Marist women’s basketball program in the late 1980s and early 1990s. A 6-foot-1 native of Troy, New York, Galarneau was a four-year starter whose statistics improved every season. This culminated in a senior season in which she averaged 15.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Galarneau played in 106 career games, with 90 starts. She scored 1,141 points in her collegiate career, a total which ranked second in program history at the time of her graduation, and is 17th all-time through this past season. She hauled in 833 career rebounds, the most in program history at the end of her playing career, and a mark which is currently in fourth place at Marist. On Feb. 23, 1991, Galarneau set a program record which remains intact today when she drained 15 free throws in a contest at LIU.
