Stacey Jack Edwards led Manhattan to its first-ever MAAC title in 1987. She scored 21 points in the championship game, a 79-64 victory over Holy Cross, to earn a place on the All-Tournament Team. Jack then recorded a team-high 12 points against Duke in the NCAA Tournament. A three-time Second Team All-MAAC selection, Jack was an Academic All-American as a senior. As a junior, she ranked 10th nationally in free throw percentage, shooting 85.5 percent at the charity stripe. During the 1985-86 campaign, Jack established a school record that still stands by making 31 consecutive free throws. She graduated as the second-leading scorer in program history and currently ranks fourth with 1,665 career points. Jack is also fourth on the Jaspers’ all-time rebounding chart (823), and her career free throw percentage of .829 is the third-best in school history. She was inducted into the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997.
