Honor Roll
Alan Tomidy was one of the top big men to ever suit up for the Red Foxes. A mainstay in the paint during the mid-1990s, Tomidy is the only player in program history to average a double-double in a season. In the 1995-96 campaign, he averaged 16.8 points and 11.3 rebounds per game as the Red Foxes set a then-school record with 22 wins and played in the Postseason NIT for the first time in program history. That year, Tomidy set single-season program records for rebounds per game, total rebounds (329), blocked shots (113), and free throws attempted (241), all of which remain 20 years after his graduation. On Feb. 8, 1996, Tomidy set single-game school records with 22 rebounds and 11 blocked shots against Long Island University, both of which still stand today. He finished his career with 1,508 points, 838 rebounds, and 267 blocked shots. He remains ranked in the program’s career top 10 in 10 statistical categories.
