MAAC Announces 2007 Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ ? A total of 61 athletes comprise the 2007 MAAC Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Iona College led all schools with 10 members named to the team. Marist College and Siena College both had nine runners, while Loyola College and Manhattan College both added eight. Canisius College, Niagara University and Saint Peter’s College added four runners apiece. Rider University had three selected, while Fairfield University rounded out the team with two student-athletes.
