MAAC Announces 2007 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ ? A total of 48 athletes comprise the 2007 MAAC Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Marist College led all schools with 11 members named to the team. Loyola College had nine athletes named to the team, while Iona College and Siena College both had six athletes. Rider University added five runners, and Niagara University had four runners. Canisius College, Fairfield University and Manhattan College each added two student-athletes, while Saint Peter’s College rounded out the team with one athlete apiece.
