West Windsor, N.J. ? The Marist College men’s and women’s rowing teams won the 2007 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rowing Championships at Mercer Lake.

In the women’s competition, Marist took top honors with 173 points. Loyola College finished second with 171 points, followed by Iona College (151), Fairfield University (106), Manhattan College (74) and Canisius College (42).

On the men’s side, Marist took home its 10th league title with a total of 187 points. Loyola was the runner-up with 172 points. Fairfield finished in third place (118), followed by Iona (98) and Manhattan (49).

The Marist men won seven of the eight events in which they were entered, with Loyola earning a victory in the Novice 8. On the women’s side, the Red Foxes took first place in the Varsity 8, the Women’s Pair, the Varsity Lightweight 4+ and the Varsity 4+.
