Wagner College Wins 2007 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Stacey Travous was named Most Outstanding Performer as she helped lead second-seeded Wagner College to an 8-7 win over top-seeded Marist College in the 2007 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship Game, held at Marist's McCann Natatorium.
The Seahawks earned the league's automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Water Polo Championship. The NCAA bracket will announced on Monday, April 30 between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m., live on CSTV.
Joining Travous on the All-Tournament Team are teammates Katie Hauck and Billy Hoelck, along with Marist's Elizabeth Davis and Katelin McCahill, Iona College's Amanda Brucia and Villanova University's Carla Martinez.
