MAAC Announces 2008 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. ? A total of 53 athletes comprise the 2008 MAAC Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Loyola College and Marist College both led all schools with 11 members named to the team.  Siena College had nine athletes named to the team, while Iona College had six athletes.  Saint Peter’s College added four runners, and Canisius College, Manhattan College and Niagara University each had three runners.  Fairfield University added two student-athletes, while Rider University rounded out the team with one athlete.
