MAAC Announces 2008 Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. ? A total of 68 athletes comprise the 2008 MAAC Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Marist College led all schools with 11 members named to the team.  Iona College had 10 runners, while Loyola College added nine.  Siena College had eight runners named to the team, and Manhattan College added seven.  Canisius College and Rider University both had six selected, while Niagara University and Saint Peter’s College had both four runners selected.  Fairfield University rounded out the team with three student-athletes.
