MAAC Announces 2008 Men's and Women's Rowing All-Academic Teams

EDISON, N.J. ? A total of 68 athletes comprise the 2008 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Rowing All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Marist College led all schools with 18 members named to the teams, and Loyola College had 17 athletes selected.  Iona College added 12 members, while Fairfield University, Manhattan College and Sacred Heart University each had seven representatives named to the squad.
