MAAC Announces 2008 Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J.  A total of 63 student-athletes make up the 2008 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Iona College and Marist College both led all schools with 14 student-athletes apiece making the team.  Manhattan College had 10 athletes, followed by Niagara University with eight.  Seven student athletes earned spots on the team from Canisius College.  Fairfield University claimed six spots on the team, while Siena College rounded out the team with four.
