MAAC Announces 2008 Water Polo League All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J. ? A total of 24 student-athletes make up the 2008 MAAC Water Polo League All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Iona College led all schools with nine student-athletes making the team, followed by Marist College’s six student-athletes.  Three athletes earned spots of the team representing St. Francis College (N.Y.) and Villanova University, and two for Wagner College.  Siena College had one student-athlete on the team.
