Loyola Men, Siena Women Maintain Lead After Day 2 of MAAC Golf Championships

Lake Buena Vista, Fla.- The Loyola College men’s team (592) and the Siena College women’s team (632) lead the way after the second round of the 2008 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships at the Magnolia Golf Course in Walt Disney World.
On the men's side, Rider University is a close second with 598. Fairfield University is in third (603), Iona College (607) was fourth, Siena College fifth (610), Niagara University was sixth (612), while Canisius College (630), Manhattan College (651), Saint Peter’s College (652) rounded out the field.
For the women, Siena leads with a team score of 632 after round two of the 54-hole tournament. Fairfield completed the round in second place with a score of 659.
Competition will resume tomorrow with the men teeing off at 7:30 a.m., and the women teeing off at 8:30 a.m.
