Marist Earns 11-3 Double Overtime Win over Siena in MAAC Water Polo Semifinal

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. ? Top-seeded Marist College earned an 11-9 double overtime win over #4 Siena College in the second semifinal of the 2008 MAAC Women’s Water Polo Championship, held at Marist’s McCann Natatorium.
Marist will play second-seeded Iona College for the championship title at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27. Siena will face Wagner College in the consolation game tomorrow at noon.
The championship winner will earn the league’s automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Water Polo Championship. The NCAA bracket will announced on Monday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m., live on CBS College Sports Television Tonight.
