Marist College Wins 2008 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. ? Katelin McCahill was named Most Outstanding Performer as she helped lead top-seeded Marist College to a 7-6 win over second-seeded Iona College in the 2008 MAAC Women’s Water Polo Championship Game, held at Marist’s McCann Natatorium.
The Red Foxes earned the league’s automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Water Polo Championship. The NCAA bracket will announced on Monday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m., live on CBS College Sports Television Tonight.
Joining McCahill on the All-Tournament Team are teammates Elizabeth Davis and Angela Rampton, along with Iona’s Amanda Brucia and Lauren Peterson, Wagner College’s Billy Hoelck and Siena College’s Lauren Garrigan.
