MAAC Announces 2008 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J.  A total of 51 student-athletes make up the 2008 MAAC Men’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Marist College led all school with nine student-athletes making the team. Canisius College and Siena College both had seven athletes, followed by Providence College and Virginia Military Institute, each with six. Five student-athletes earned spots on the team from Manhattan College, Saint Joseph’s University and Wagner College. Mount St. Mary’s University claimed one spot on the team.
