MAAC Announces 2008 Softball All-Academic Team
MAAC Sports
EDISON, N.J. A total of 55 athletes comprise the 2008 MAAC Softball All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Canisius College, Marist College, Niagara University, Rider University and Saint Peter’s College each had seven student-athletes. Iona College and Siena College both had six athletes named to the team. Fairfield University and Manhattan College had four players apiece named to the team.
