MAAC Adds Bertovich to Staff

Edison, NJ ? Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Commissioner, Richard J. Ensor, Esq. has announced the hiring of Meghan Bertovich as Director of Championships & Special Events.
Bertovich will be responsible for coordinating all MAAC Special Events, including NCAA Championships and MAAC Championships at Walt Disney World’s Wide World of Sports Complex. She will also be chair of the conference’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Bertovich comes to the MAAC from the Sun Belt Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she worked as the Championships Assistant since July 2008. Prior to her work at the Sun Belt, she served as the Senior Team Manager with the University of Dayton women’s basketball program. During that time, Bertovich assisted with the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship First & Second Rounds in Philadelphia in 2006 and Buffalo in 2007. She also spent time working with the Buffalo Bisons Minor League baseball team, as well as the Canisius College Athletic Department.
A May 2008 graduate of the University of Dayton, Bertovich earned her degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration.
