MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

Adrienne Boyer, Fairfield

M, Jr., 5-6, Somers, Conn./Somers

Boyer, a junior midfielder, outscored the each of the other three teams at the Puma Raider Invitational by herself, netting five points in the two games.  She started the weekend with a game-tying assist in the 68th minute Friday against Colgate.  Boyer would then net her first goal of the season 10 minutes later, with an unassisted tally that would be the game winner.  On Sunday, she scored her second goal of the weekend, knotting the score at 1-1 in the 17th minute, beginning the Stags’ come-from-behind rally to capture the tournament title.
