MAAC Announces 2009 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. - A total of 61
athletes comprise the 2009 MAAC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, the
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for
the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at
their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0
scale. Marist College led all schools with 11 members named to the team. Siena was next with 10. Niagara University had eight athletes named
to the team, while Iona College and Loyola University Maryland had seven
athletes apiece. Fairfield University added
six runners, and Canisius College had four members. Manhattan College and Rider University each
had three runners. Saint Peter's College
rounded out the team with two athletes.
