Marist Reaches MAAC Women's Soccer Semifinals With 1-0 Victory Over Siena

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - Seventh-seeded Marist College earned a 1-0 win over second-seeded Siena College in the quarterfinals of the MAAC Women's Soccer Championship at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.
Junior Amy Tillotson scored her fifth goal of the season, and second of the tournament in the 33rd minute as senior Alexandra Lauterborn fed the ball across the box. Tillotson settled the ball and drove it past Siena goalkeeper Laura Ettinger from eight yards out.
Jamie Balzarini recorded her second straight shutout of the championship, making two saves for the Red Foxes. Ettinger posted one save between the pipes for the Saints.
Marist will take on sixth-seeded Niagara University on Sunday, November 1 at approximately 1:30 p.m.
