Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - Loyola University Maryland graduate student forward Theresa Ferraina has been named the 2009 MAAC Offensive Player of the Year by the league's head coaches and headlines this season's All-MAAC First Team.

Ferraina earned this award after recording six goals and three assists for 15 points this season for the Greyhounds, placing her tied for 10th place on the MAAC scoring chart.

Joining Ferraina with First Team All-MAAC honors is fellow teammate Brittany Henderson, the 2009 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year.  Henderson, a senior goalkeeper for the Greyhounds, owned a league-best 0.81 goals against average during the regular season and led the conference in shutouts with nine to her credit.
