MAAC Announces 2009 Men's Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J. ? A total of 46 athletes comprise the 2009 MAAC Men’s Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Loyola College and Marist College both led all schools with eight members each named to the team. Niagara University had seven student-athletes.  Manhattan College added five members, while Fairfield University, Iona College and Rider University all had four members, while Canisius College and Saint Peter’s College rounded out the team with three athletes apiece.
