MAAC Announces 2009 Men's and Women's Rowing All-Academic Teams

Edison, N.J. ? A total of 70 athletes comprise the 2009 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Rowing All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Marist College led all schools with 24 members named to the teams, and Iona College had 15 athletes selected.  Fairfield University added 12 members, while Loyola College has nine.  Sacred Heart University had seven representatives named to the squad.  Manhattan College rounded out the team with three student athletes.
