Wagner Finishes Third in 2009 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. ? Second-seeded Wagner College earned a 9-3 victory over fourth-seeded St. Francis (N.Y.) College in the consolation game of the 2009 MAAC Women’s Water Polo Championship, held at the McCann Natatorium on the campus of Marist College.
Sara Olguin and Alexandra Tomlinson led the Seahawks (17-12) with two goals apiece in the contest. Carina Giles, Lauren French, Rebecca Hannings, Nicole Maichrowicz and Laura vanderBent added one goal each for Wagner.
Ana Milicev paced the Terriers (8-13) with two goals on the day.
