MAAC Announces 2009 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Edison, N.J.  A total of 56 student-athletes make up the 2009 MAAC Men’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Marist College led all school with 11 student-athletes making the team.  Manhattan College and Wagner College both had eight athletes, followed by Canisius College and Saint Joseph’s University, each with seven.  Five student-athletes earned spots on the team from Siena College, while Mount St. Mary’s University and Virginia Military Institute both secured four spots on the team.  Providence College claimed two spots on the team.
