Philadelphia LOC Observing 2010 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships

Omaha, Nebraska – The Philadelphia Local Organizing Committee for the 2011 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will be observing the inner workings and operations during the 2010 Championships in Omaha, Nebraska this week. Making the trip are staff from Rider University, including Athletic Director Don Harnum, Assistant Athletic Director Brian Keane and graduate assistant Doug Umbehauer (2009 NCAA Division I Wrestling All-American), staff from the MAAC, and key members from the Philadelphia community, headed by Chairman Roger Reina. 

During their stay in Omaha, the Philadelphia contingent will be showcased during a half-hour presentation during the Fan Fest on Saturday, March 20, in which there will be a highlight video of the sights and sounds of Philly and a raffle for two all-session tickets and a two-night stay at a local Philadelphia hotel.

The Wachovia Center staff will be on hand at the Qwest Center Thursday through Saturday to help fans purchase tickets for next year’s competition.  Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 18, at Noon Eastern time. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting www.comcasttix.com or calling 866-298-4200.
