Curtis led the
Griffs to a 14-8 victory over Robert Morris on Saturday, setting a school
record with eight goals. Curtis, who doubled her previous career high of four
goals, topped the previous record of seven scores, set by Whitney Card against
Iona in 2006.

Young had a strong week for the Stags in
picking up wins over Yale and Sacred Heart. She went for eight ground balls and
seven draw controls on the week. Against Yale she recorded a game-high six
ground balls and four caused turnovers and then against Sacred Heart she had
three more caused turnovers and two ground balls. Young also won a draw control
in each game. She netted five goals, including the game-winner in each game,
and had one assist.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
AMANDA
TUCK, MARIST

Tuck had an
impressive collegiate debut this week, tallying hat tricks in wins against
Lafayette and LeMoyne. The freshman midfield had three goals and an assist in
Marist’s season-opening 15-12 win over Lafayette at Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff
Field on Wednesday. She then had three
goals in the Red Foxes’ 10-8 win over LeMoyne on Saturday. Tuck scored six
goals this week on just seven shots.
