Loyola Women, Marist Men Win 2010 MAAC Rowing Championships

Princeton Junction, N.J. - The Loyola University women's and Marist College men's rowing teams won the 2010 MAAC Rowing Championships at the Mercer County Park Marina.
In the women's competition, the Greyhounds took home their fourth conference trophy with 184 points. The Red Foxes finished second with 166 points, followed by Fairfield University (135), Drake University, 134, Iona College (116), Sacred Heart University (96) and Manhattan College (25).
On the men's side, the Red Foxes earned their 13th league title with a total of 189 points. The Greyhounds were the runners-up with 165 points. Iona finished in third place (149), followed by Fairfield (92) and Manhattan (32).
Loyola's Al Ramirez was named the 2010 Anaconda Sports MAAC Women's Rowing Coach of the Year.
