Iona Earns 9-8 Overtime Win Over Wagner in 2010 MAAC Water Polo Semifinal

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Second-seeded Iona College earned a 9-8 overtime win over third-seeded Wagner College in the second semifinal of the 2010 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship, held at Marist College's McCann Natatorium.
Iona (21-13) will play top-seeded Marist College (17-13) for the championship title at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 25. Wagner (16-20) will face Siena College (12-21) in the consolation game tomorrow at noon.
The championship winner will earn the league's automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Water Polo Championship.
