Marist College Wins 2010 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Senior utility Samantha Swartz was named Most Outstanding Performer as she helped guide top-seeded Marist College to an 18-5 victory over second-seeded Iona College in the 2010 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship Game, held at Marist's McCann Natatorium.
The Red Foxes (18-14) earned the league's automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Water Polo Championship. The Gaels finished out the year at 21-14 overall.
Joining Swartz on the All-Tournament Team are teammate Angela Rampton, along with Caitlin McGregor and Mackenzie Mone from Iona, Lauren French and Kelsey Rodgers from Wagner College and Jackie Crosby from Siena College.
