MAAC Announces 2010 Men's & Women's Golf All-Academic Teams

Celebration, Fla. - A total of 42 athletes
comprise the 2010 MAAC Men's and Women's Golf All-Academic Teams, the Metro
Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC
All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their
institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0
scale. Manhattan College led all schools
with eight student-athletes named to the teams.
The squads also include six athletes from the University of Hartford. Canisius College, Iona College, Saint Peter's
College and Siena College all had four members each named to the teams. The University at Albany and Fairfield
University both added three student-athletes, while Boston University and
Niagara University has two members each.
Loyola University and Rider University rounded out the teams with one
student-athlete apiece.
