MAAC Announces 2010 Softball All-Academic Team
MAAC Sports
Buffalo, N.Y. - A total of 59 athletes comprise the 2010 MAAC Softball All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Niagara University led all schools with 10 student athletes. Manhattan College added eight to the team, while Canisius College and Iona College both had seven. Fairfield University and Siena College each had six student-athletes. Marist College, Rider University and Saint Peter's College all had five athletes named to the team.
