Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - A total of 60 student-athletes make up the 2010 MAAC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Manhattan College and Marist College both led all schools with 11 student-athletes each making the team.  Canisius College had nine athletes, followed by Wagner College with eight.  The University of Detroit Mercy added six to the squad.  Five student-athletes earned spots on the team from Saint Joseph's University, while Siena College secured four spots on the team.  Mount St. Mary's University and the Virginia Military Institute claimed three spots apiece on the team.
