Fr., Defender, 6-2, 175, Massapequa, N.Y./St. Anthony's
In
the final two games of the regular season for the Red Foxes, Wendelken had
leading roles in the team's success on both sides of the ball. Versus Rider he
scored the game-winning goal for Marist off of a header in the 27th
minute. When allowed to range up from his right back position, he registered
another two shots against Rider as well. In both matchups, Wendelken was part
of a lockdown defense that smothered their opponents' offense and allowed just
four shots on goal during their 180 minutes of action.
