MAAC Announces 2011 Women's Soccer All-Academic Team
MAAC Sports
Edison, N.J. - A total of 88 athletes comprise the 2011 MAAC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Fairfield University, Marist College and Siena College led all schools with 12 members each named to the team. Rider University had 10 athletes named to the team, while Niagara University had 11 athletes. Iona College added eight athletes. Canisius College, Manhattan College and Saint Peter's College all had seven members. Loyola University Maryland rounded out the team with five athletes.
