MAAC Announces 2011 Women's Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team
MAAC Sports
Edison, N.J. - A total of 93 athletes comprise the 2011 MAAC Women's Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Fairfield University led all schools with 18 members named to the team. Loyola University Maryland added 16 student-athletes, and Iona College had 12 student-athletes. Niagara University added nine, while Marist College and Siena College both had eight representatives. Rider University had seven members on the team. Manhattan College had six student-athletes. Canisius College added five athletes, while Saint Peter's College rounded out the team with four athletes.
