MAAC Announces 2011 Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Rochelle, N.Y. - A total of 52 student-athletes make
up the 2011 MAAC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic
Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and
hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Niagara University led all schools with 11
student-athletes making the team.
Canisius College had nine athletes.
Eight student athletes earned spots on the team from Fairfield
University, while Marist College had seven representatives. Iona College and Siena College both added six
student-athletes. Manhattan College
rounded out the team with five members on the team.
