Marist Finishes Third in 2011 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Second-seeded Marist College earned a 9-5 victory over fourth-seeded St. Francis (NY) College in the consolation game of the 2011 MAAC Women's Water Polo Championship, held at Marist's McCann Natatorium.
Senior Agnes Konopka led the Red Foxes with three goals, and senior Rosie Pauli scored two goals. Juniors Jaclyn Puccino and Kelly Kline as well as freshman Kirsten Siegel added one goal apiece.
Sophomore Regina Toth paced the Terriers with two goals, while seniors Thalita Paladino and Andrea Dolnay along with junior Paloma Szivos recorded one goal each.
