MAAC Announces 2011 Baseball All-Academic Team
MAAC Sports
Trenton,
N.J. - A total of 51 athletes comprise the 2011
MAAC Baseball All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
announced today.
To
be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two
semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of
3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Niagara University
led all schools with 11 members named to the team. Marist College had eight student-athletes. Canisius
College and Iona College each had seven representatives. Rider University and Saint Peter's College both
added five members, while Fairfield University and Siena College each had three
players named to the squad. Manhattan
College rounded out the team with two athletes.
