MAAC Announces 2011 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Buffalo, N.Y. - A total of 49 student-athletes make up the 2011 MAAC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Canisius College led all schools with 11 student-athletes making the team. The University of Detroit had 10 athletes, while Marist added nine, followed by Manhattan College with eight. Four student-athletes earned spots on the team from Jacksonville University and Siena College, while the Virginia Military Institute claimed two spots on the team.
