Haworth
had a six-point weekend as the Purple Eagles went 1-0-1 in two matches. He found
the back of the net twice and recorded two assists in games at Cornell and
Hartwick. Haworth played a role in three goals in Niagara's 3-1 win over
Cornell on Friday night. He assisted on the first two goals, and then sealed
the game with a goal in the 85th minute. On Monday, Haworth
scored the game-tying goal with a far post finish in the 78th
minute.

Jack Binks, Siena College

Binks
was masterful between the pipes last week for the Saints and earned a pair of
victories over foes from BCS conferences in triumphs over No. 15 Ohio State and
Syracuse. Against the Buckeyes Monday, Binks made two saves in posting his
first collegiate shutout and guiding Siena to its first ever win over a ranked opponent.
On Sunday, he added five more saves as the Saints topped Syracuse 2-1 in
overtime. In three games last week, Binks posted a 2-1 record with 10 saves, a
0.65 goals against average and .833 save percentage.
Rookie
of the Week
Ignacio Maganto, Iona College

Maganto,
a freshman forward, scored the game-winning goal in Iona's 2-1 victory at New
Hampshire. The deciding tally was the first of Maganto's career, and he
also added five shots with four shots on goal in the match. Maganto is one
of three freshmen to start in both of Iona's contests this year.
