Matti Grahle - Rider University
Men's Soccer, Fr., M, 6-0, 175, Oldenburg, Germany

Rider University freshman Matti Grahle came to Lawrenceville from Oldenburg, Germany and has made an immediate impact on the Bronc soccer team. Playing the crucial center midfield position, Grahle has started six of his first seven games with the Broncs and earned All-Tournament team honors at the Princeton Invitational, playing against the Tigers of Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania. In Germany, Grahle played with VFC Oldenburg in the German U19 league which is the highest youth level in the country. He captained and manned the center midfield for VFC Oldenburg and was regarding as one of the top defensive midfielders in his region. At Rider, the 6', 175 pound Grahle is a Business Administration major.


Alicja Pawelec - Iona College
Volleyball, Jr., OH, 5-10, Glendale, NY/Francis Lewis

Junior outside hitter Alicja Pawelec has been a key member of the Iona College volleyball team this season. Through five MAAC games, Pawelec has posted 68 kills and 58 digs. She has also recorded three double-doubles this season and helped the team start 3-0 in conference play. In her first MAAC contest against Manhattan, Pawelec finished with 23 kills and 15 digs. In 256 appearances for the Gaels, she has 820 career kills and 452 career digs. A chemistry major, Pawelec has also been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for her success in the classroom.
